The Birth of ChoCki

“ChoCki” is my A.K.A.

I’m Cara… or Kimrey, as I was called during my high school and college years – it was my last name; or CDK, my initials; or presently choyler, a combo of my first initial and married last name. Basically I go by a lot of different names, all of which are extremely relevant and not one would I change. Which is why when I married I kept my CDK and just added on the Hoyler.

Cho represents Cara Hoyler. Get it? C. Ho.

Cki represents Cara Kimrey. C. Ki.

I guess you could call it my pen name, literary name, or better yet my pseudonym. Don’t writers use thoughs? Well, now that I have outed myself there is nothing more to explain. What you see is what you get.

I observe. I question. I write. I share. Sometimes I’m funny, other times I’m rather serious but I write what’s true for me and never utter the word regret.
